How OWBC26 is judged

Four lines, 0 to 10 each, equal weight:

• Musicality — groove, structure, how the piece moves as music.
• Technicality — control, clarity, difficulty executed cleanly.
• Originality — sounds, ideas and combinations that are yours.
• Performance — presence, delivery, the room (or the camera) held.

Every score is published. When a panel closes, each judge's score in each line is on this page and on every competitor's entry. You will know why you placed where you did.

The wildcard is scored blind by three of the five judges, assigned evenly, so a hundred videos get the same attention as ten.

Ties go to the higher best musicality score any judge gave, then to the earlier entry.

Money never touches an outcome. No paid re-submission, no paid seeding, no paid votes, no paid bye. A sponsored entry buys an entry, never a score.
