The world map got a legibility pass — the same map, far easier to actually read.
- Pins cluster. Events in the same area collapse into one counted badge; tap it to zoom into the group and see them separately.
- The panel sits beside the map, not over it. On desktop, opening a country puts its scene in a column next to the map, so nothing hides behind an overlay and far-eastern countries stay visible.
- Continents frame themselves. Picking a continent fits the view to where its people and events actually are, rather than to a fixed guess, and it settles cleanly instead of rubberbanding.
- The continent filter scopes the event pins, and past events retire from the map, so you are only looking at what is still ahead.
- On phones, the map stays the map. The country panel now flows below it with its own scroll, so the map is never covered while you read about a scene.
