Publishing elimination results used to send them into a void, and the bracket was often built before the eliminations that should decide it. Both halves are closed now.
Results land on the event page
Once judging is verified and published, an Elimination Results section appears on the event page — the full ranked standings, with the judge count and the category weights in the header, every row linking to that competitor, and an ADVANCED badge above the cutline once a bracket exists. It renders for everyone, signed in or not.
The bracket comes from the results
The judging desk gains Seed the bracket from these results once results are published. The Top 8 or Top 16 advance, seeded 1 to N by their elimination ranking, through the same validation every other bracket goes through. It refuses when fewer than N entrants have complete scores, and it replaces a draft bracket — so an event that generated one too early is corrected simply by regenerating from the standings.
